Friends, I’ve had a revelation. About three months ago I began blogging more consistently here on Aval House while also writing weekly for my own blog Remembered Lore. This is a significant workload which, at the time, I was willing and prepared to take on. However, in the last few weeks I have been confronted with the urgency and importance of other duties which are being laid aside due to this writing. My mind is bursting with ideas for Aval House, including an amazing photoshoot Elise and I have planned for this summer and an ongoing revision of one of our illuminated quotes, as well as goals and ambitions for my personal life and blog, Remembered Lore. I am longing to give these ideas a higher priority in my schedule, but this has been impossible due to the heavy load of writing.
Therefore, Elise and I have talked together and decided to pause the Aval House blog during the summer months. Yes, friends, this does mean the third part of On Building Rivendell must be postponed and not published until the fall. I am disappointed too, but don’t let this stop you from incorporating Rivendellish elements into your home and lifestyle.
Elise and I plan to continue communicating with our readers via our email list, so if you enjoy the blog and want to hear more from us during the summer, you might want to sign up. Subscribers receive a 15% OFF coupon for Aval House. We will also be posting consistently on our Instagram account, so don’t forget to follow us there, too! Our shop will also continue to remain open throughout the summer.
